If you are attending the SLAS 2017 conference, you should check out the following AnIML-related activities. Besides several talks in the technical program, several vendors are showing AnIML-enabled products on the exhibition floor. The SiLA Consortium is showing a live demo of several vendors with adjacent booths, all connected. AnIML is used to transfer the instrument data on top of the SiLA protocols.

Technical Program

Data management in the age of big data, mobile and the cloud
Burkhard Schaefer, BSSN Software
Full day short course on Sunday, February 5
Separate registration required

AnIML 1.0: Releasing a universal data format for analytical and biological data
Burkhard Schaefer, BSSN Software
Tuesday, February 7, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Room: 140AB

Several vendors are showing AnIML technology in their products.

Seyonic (#442)

The Seyonic Personal Pipettor is delivering traceable liquid handling. Flow information and pipetting details are provided in AnIML format directly by the instrument firmware. The instrument connects to Seahorse Cloud Edition, so the data is available on any device.

Xavo Systems (#1320)

Xavo Lab Logistics (XLL) features an embedded AnIML interface to integrate instrument data into lab workflows. Learn more about our partnership. A live demo is available.

infoteam (#1318)

As part of the SiLA Showcase, infoteam is showing a live connection of infoteam iLab to Seahorse Cloud Edition. iLab is using SiLA to connect to the Equicon niceLab scheduling platform to control a Promega microplate reader. After a workflow is complete, iLab transfers the results to Seahorse Cloud Edition in AnIML format.

Equicon (#1319)

The Equicon niceLAB scheduling platform is used to create, process and analyze workflows. The data created (e.g. measurement data) is saved and can be transferred to a supervising system. At SLAS 2016, niceLAB controls the Promega GloMax Explorer microplate reader via SiLA. It supports AnIML based data review.

Promega (#419)

Promega’s GloMax® Explorer, controlled by a SiLA driver, reads the plate and delivers read out data in the AnIML format. More information about the instrument is available at the Promega booth. A live instrument connected via SiLA and AnIML can be seen at the Equicon booth (#1319).
